Alpaca wool is one of the finest natural fibers in the world. Coveted for its beauty, durability, and softness, it has been used for thousands of years. Alpaca wool is also a sustainable, renewable resource. It can be removed without any harm to the animal or the environment. Alpaca fiber is naturally hypoallergenic and highly breathable. It is non-flammable and occurs naturally in 22 colors. Lastly, alpaca fibers have microscopic air pockets that allow it to be breathable and with high thermic properties, it is about seven times warmer than other wools.
