I have always been a crafty person since birth, drawing and painting, along with doing ceramics with my mother. Slip casting the infamous Ceramic Christmas trees and many many trolls and gnomes moved through my hands. My Grandmother on my mothers side painted porcelain, covering plates and bowls and cups in beautiful berries and flowers. My father loved drawing cartoons and playing the drums in a band. (Polka) \u003cbr\u003e    After my oldest son graduated from UW Whitewater in Ceramics, he started an adult enrichment class for Ceramics at the local High School, which being the devoted mother, I signed up to attend. And after two classes, my clay experience expanded to what it is today. \u003cbr\u003e   My work is mostly slab, and over the years I have found out that you can almost make anything out of a slab of clay.  I enjoy making both functional ware and sculptural pieces. My color pallet is endless and I have a plethora of glazes. My passion is making face jugs, and putting whimsical faces on any clay object makes me smile.
