My artwork is inspired by the natural world, spanning landscapes, seascapes, flora, and fauna. Since returning to painting in 2020, I’ve worked with acrylic and oil on canvas and board, using brushes to create realistic, detail-rich representations.  I have a particular passion for painting portraits of wild animals and cherished non-human companions. I enjoy the challenge of capturing diverse textures—fur, feathers, fabric, and more—to bring each subject to life. 

Through my work, I aim to nurture a deeper connection to the animals we share our world with, and to the Earth itself—our common home. I believe this connection is increasingly missing in modern life. When painting companion animals, I seek to honor the profound emotional bond between them and their human caregivers. Each portrait is an attempt to capture not only the animal’s likeness but also their unique personality and presence, with the same depth and sensitivity one might expect from a human portrait.
