Creating this self portriat pushed me outside my comfort zone, as I've rarely depicted myself in art and had not rendered the human form since high school. In addition, the tehnical challenge of capturing my blurred reflection in an antique mirror made the process more intimidating. This piece reflects my ongoing journey of self discovery, learning to view and accept myself with greater underdtnding, compassion, and positivity.
