Artist Statement: 

My artistic practice is rooted in a commitment to presence and immediacy. Working in a gestural, abstract style enables me to engage directly with the moment, free from the constraints of traditional, technique-oriented approaches. This method allows me to take complex concepts into their most essential visual forms, emphasizing clarity over embellishment.

By intentionally removing extraneous detail, I focus on the core elements that carry emotional and conceptual weight. Each painting becomes a site of active dialogue—where every gesture, addition, or removal of material is a considered and spontaneous response to the evolving surface. This dynamic interaction with the canvas reflects my broader pursuit of authenticity and intentionality in both art and life.
