Artist Statement:
Working primarily in abstract painting and collage, I explore the tension between chaos and order through layered compositions that reflect the complexity of thought, memory, and identity.
My work is deeply informed by lived experience—including the journey of immigration—which continues to shape my exploration of both cultural and personal identity. I express this through weaving together bold color, texture, and structure to evoke emotional and psychological landscapes. Using materials such as painted polyester film, acrylics, spray paint, and resin, I create visually immersive works that invite viewers into open-ended dialogue.
This practice bridges personal narrative and universal themes, aiming to offer both depth and discovery in each piece.
